(1) If any civil servant is transferred before the period specified in sub-section (3) of section 18 of the Act, for the purpose of sub-section (8) of the same section, an amount equal to one month's salary will be given to such employee for settling in the new "place".
(2) The amount as per sub-rule (1) shall be paid from the office of the ex-employee of such civil servant.
(3) When a civil servant is transferred before the period specified in sub-section (3) of section 18 of the Act, the subject of receiving or not receiving funds for settlement in the new "location" as per sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Act shall be clearly mentioned in the transfer deed. A copy of the deed of transfer should also be submitted when requesting the amount as per the rules.
